Joe Wittkop brings decades of photography experience and his unique creative touch to make every photo session an enjoyable experience with quality results.

Joe's love of photography began at the race track. As a young jockey he was intrigued by the cameras and flashing lights at the winner's circle. He began taking classes and was soon working for a large commercial photography studio in Chicago. He learned to shoot on film and mastered the art of lighting, room-set design and photo and art production. He became a skilled fashion and product photographer as well as location photography ninja, doing whatever was needed to get the perfect picture.

A few years later, Joe moved to New York where he ran a successful photography business from his Soho office. During this time he had the opportunity to photograph iconic people and locations such as the bands Phish and Digable Planets as well as the Statue of Liberty.

As technology advanced, Joe made the switch to digital photography. He embraced the many advantages of shooting with digital cameras in addition to utilizing digital files and computer programs such as Photoshop. However, he never lost his love for film and the art and skills he learned in his early days of photography.

After twenty-five years of big city life, Joe moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas where he could play cowboy again. He also regularly participates in local Civil War reenactments and is a member of the Arkansas Search and Rescue team.
